European stocks rose in the early session today (15th), with the Spanish stock market hitting a new all-time high. The market is watching the European Central Bank and the Bank of England's interest rate decisions this week, as well as the U.S. non-farm payroll and inflation data for last month to be released this week.

The pan-European STOXX 600 index rose by 2.62 points or 0.5%, closing at 580.86 points. The UK FTSE 100 index increased by 49 points or 0.5%, closing at 9,698 points; the French CAC index rose by 38 points or 0.5%, closing at 8,106 points; the German DAX index gained 87 points or 0.4%, closing at 24,274 points; the Spanish IBEX 35 rose by 159 points or 1%, closing at 17,014 points, setting a new historical high. The Italian FTSE MIB index increased by 395 points or 0.8%, closing at 43,909 points.

In terms of individual stocks, luxury goods companies Kering and Burberry rose by 3.6% and 3.2%, respectively, while Richemont increased by 2.3%. Pharmaceutical stock Novo Nordisk fell by 1.7%. Sanofi dropped by 4.5%, as its research on multiple sclerosis medication failed to meet primary endpoints in Phase III clinical trials.

In U.S. stock futures, the Dow Jones March futures rose by 165 points to 49,025 points; the S&P 500 March futures increased by 18 points to 6,909 points; the Nasdaq 100 March futures rose by 43 points to 25,512 points.

In the Asia-Pacific stock market, the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets fell by 0.6% and 1.1%, respectively. The Hong Kong Hang Seng Index dropped by 347 points or 1.3%, closing at 25,628 points, with a turnover of HKD 204.3 billion. The Taiwan stock market fell by 1.2%, while the Japanese and South Korean stock markets closed down by 1.3% and 1.8%, respectively. The Australian stock market declined by 0.7%, while the New Zealand stock market slightly rose by 1 point. The Indian Nifty 50 index fell by 16 points or less than 0.1%, closing at 26,030 points. The Singapore Straits Times Index dropped by 3 points to 4,583 points. The stock markets in Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand rose by 0.2% to 1%. The stock markets in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, fell by 0.3% and less than 0.1%, respectively
