Israeli Prime Minister approves natural gas supply agreement to Egypt

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Wednesday that Israel has approved an agreement to supply natural gas to Egypt, marking the country's largest natural gas deal ever.

In August, Israel signed this export agreement to supply natural gas worth up to $35 billion from the Leviathan gas field to Egypt. This deal with Chevron (CVX.US) and Israeli partners will help ensure regional stability
