
The S&P 500 Index rises for two consecutive days, Nasdaq closes up 1.3%, Oracle surges over 6%
The atmosphere in the US stock market is good, with Oracle (ORCL.US) driving the market, and US stocks performed strongly on Friday. The Nasdaq closed up 301 points or 1.3% at 23,307 points; the S&P 500 index rose for the second consecutive day, gaining 59 points, an increase of about 0.9% to 6,834 points; the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 183 points or 0.4% to 48,134 points.
For the entire week, the Dow fell 0.7%, the Nasdaq rose 0.5%, and the S&P 500 index only increased by 0.1%.
TikTok and Oracle have formed a joint venture in the US, with ByteDance retaining its e-commerce and advertising business in the US, and Oracle rose 6.6%.
Other AI stocks also rose, as reports indicate that the Trump administration is evaluating the possibility of NVIDIA (NVDA.US) selling its advanced AI chips to China. Meanwhile, US investment research firm Bernstein stated that NVIDIA's valuation relative to the semiconductor index is rarely attractive, and NVIDIA's stock price rose nearly 4% throughout the day. Micron Technology (MU.US) continued its upward trend, rising another 7%.
Nike (NKE.US) reported better-than-expected quarterly results; however, sales in the Greater China region declined, and the stock fell about 10.5%
