According to information from the official website of China Post, on December 23, China Post Group Co., Ltd. held a party group meeting and announced the decisions on the appointment and removal of Lu Wei and Liu Jianjun by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China:
Lu Wei is appointed as the Deputy General Manager and a member of the Party Group of China Post Group Co., Ltd., and Liu Jianjun is removed from the positions of Deputy General Manager and member of the Party Group of China Post Group Co., Ltd. The relevant appointments and removals will be handled in accordance with relevant legal provisions.
Liu Jianjun previously served as the Deputy General Manager and member of the Party Group of the Postal Group while concurrently holding the position of President of PSBC. He has turned 60 this year. The future position of President of PSBC after his departure from the Postal Group is highly anticipated in the industry.
