
The medium- to long-term U.S. Treasury yields rose by more than 1 basis point
On Tuesday (December 30), at the New York close, the yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury rose by 1.56 basis points to 4.1258%, with a significant upward trend occurring around 20:00 Beijing time. The yield on the 2-year U.S. Treasury fell by 0.61 basis points to 3.4484%, stabilizing at a low level after the release of the Federal Reserve's December meeting minutes at 03:00; the yield on the 30-year U.S. Treasury rose by 1.31 basis points to 4.81%. The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year U.S. Treasuries increased by 2.176 basis points to +67.539 basis points. The yield on the 10-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) rose by 0.36 basis points to 1.8651%; the yield on the 2-year TIPS fell by 1.39 basis points to 1.1423%; the yield on the 30-year TIPS rose by 0.28 basis points to 2.5961%
