BMW (China) Automotive Trade Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the "Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automotive Products" and the "Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automotive Products."

The filing shows that the recall number is S2026M0005V, stating that starting from last Friday (the 9th), 19 imported X3M50 vehicles produced from March 27 to September 16, 2025, will be recalled due to a steering system software issue that may cause the steering wheel to rotate abnormally while stationary, posing a safety hazard
