According to a report by the Hong Kong Economic Journal, an owner is selling the entire floor office space at the Bank of America Tower in Central, with the latest two connected units sold for HKD 35 million, at a price per square foot of approximately HKD 19,000. It is reported that this floor was originally owned by the bank and was purchased last April by Shu Xin, chairman of Jin'ao Holdings Group, or related individuals, for HKD 250 million, at a price per square foot of approximately HKD 18,012.
The report mentions that the property in question is the entire 23rd floor of the Bank of America Tower, with a total area of approximately 13,880 square feet, divided into 21 units for sale, with sizes ranging from 243 to 1,840 square feet, and the intended price per square foot starting from HKD 17,000. The first transaction of the sale involved units 10 to 11, with a total area of approximately 1,840 square feet, sold for HKD 35 million, at a price per square foot of approximately HKD 19,022.
It is noteworthy that Shu Xin or related individuals purchased the entire 36th floor of the building from Yonglun Group last November for HKD 247 million, at a price per square foot of approximately HKD 17,800, thus liquidating the lower floor units for cash
