Goldman Sachs stated that Trump's tariff threats against European countries are "destructive" and will put pressure on the dollar this week. Goldman Sachs' Chief Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets Strategist Kamakshya Trivedi said in an interview: "We have encountered this situation for two consecutive weekends — destructive U.S. policies that will somewhat question the halo surrounding U.S. assets. Last weekend it was about the Federal Reserve, and I believe this time it will be about tariffs as well."
