According to foreign media reports, game developer Ubisoft (UBSFF.US) has laid off 40 employees at its Toronto studio as part of the company's large-scale restructuring plan. Ubisoft announced last month that it would implement a major cost-cutting plan and stated that it would provide comprehensive severance packages and career placement assistance for affected employees
