Starting from April 8th, LINK REIT will cancel free parking and change to a rental discount of 5 yuan per hour

Link REIT (00823.HK) announced that starting from April 8, its shopping malls will cancel the existing free parking offer and instead launch a "Discount Parking" program. Customers who spend a specified amount in the mall can enjoy a rental discount of HKD 5 for one hour, which in other words is a disguised price increase.

Under the current arrangement, customers who spend HKD 300 can enjoy two hours of free parking, and one receipt from a restaurant can earn an additional two hours of free parking.

The announcement stated that the new arrangement aims to continue providing customers with competitive parking discounts and maintain overall service levels. To support the new arrangement, from April 8 to May 7, parking discount coupons of HKD 5 will be distributed to customers participating in the "Discount Parking" program, which can be used during their next visit to any of the designated 37 Link REIT shopping malls on or before May 31
