In the tech sector, Tencent (00700.HK), Alibaba (09988.HK), Baidu (09888.HK), and NetEase (09999.HK) rose between 2.6% and 3.3%, Kuaishou (01024.HK) rose 2.2%, Meituan (03690.HK) fell 2.4%, and JD.com (09618.HK) fell 0.1%. Bilibili (09626.HK) and Dongfang Zhenxuan (01797.HK) rose 5.2% and 7.1%, respectively, while Ping An Good Doctor (01833.HK) and Xindong (02400.HK) rose 4.7% and 4.1%.
AI stock Zhipu (02513.HK) reported an adjusted net loss of RMB 3.182 billion for the year, with CICC projecting that by March 2026, the annual recurring revenue from APIs will reach RMB 1.7 billion, a 60-fold year-on-year increase, leading to a 31.9% rise in stock price for the half-day. MiniMax (00100.HK) rose 17.3%. Jingtai (02228.HK) and Yingsi Intelligent (03696.HK) rose 9.8% and 6%, respectively. Cloud service providers Kingsoft Cloud (03896.HK) and GDS Holdings (09698.HK) rose over 4%. In the chip sector, SMIC (00981.HK) and Hua Hong (01347.HK) rose 3.6% and 5.1%, while Biren (06082.HK) and Tianneng Zhixin (09903.HK) rose 7.6% and 4.7%. Peer company Yujian (02432.HK) rose 5.9%, and related concept stock Minshi (00425.HK) rose 8.2%.
Pharmaceutical stocks surged, with 3SBio (01530.HK), Junshi Biosciences (01877.HK), Innovent Biologics (09969.HK), and Rongchang Biologics (09995.HK) rising between 10% and 14%, while China National Pharmaceutical Group (01177.HK), Kelun-Biotech (06990.HK), Ying'en (09606.HK), and Kanglong Chemical (03759.HK) rose between 8.1% and 9%. Kingsoft (01548.HK), Xiansheng Pharmaceutical (02096.HK), BeiGene (06160.HK), and Kangfang Biologics (09926.HK) rose between 7% and 7.6%.
In the automotive sector, BYD (01211.HK) fell 2.7%, Xiaomi (01810.HK) rose 0.3%, and Nio (09866.HK) rose 9.3%. Leapmotor (09863.HK) saw its CEO increase shareholding involving RMB 230 million, with the stock price rising 6% Li Auto (02015.HK), Geely (00175.HK), and XPeng (09868.HK) rose by 2.9% to 3.5%. Autonomous driving stocks WeRide (00800.HK) and Pony.ai (02026.HK) increased by 5.5% and 6.8%, while Hesai (02525.HK) rebounded by 10.7%.

In the energy transportation sector, COSCO Shipping Energy (01138.HK) rose by 8.8%. Tourism-related stocks performed well, with China Southern Airlines (01055.HK) rising by 5.4%, China Eastern Airlines (00670.HK) and Air China (00753.HK) increasing by 6.9% and 6.1%, and Cathay Pacific (00293.HK) rising by 4.3%. Gaming stocks Melco International (00200.HK) rose by 9.7%. Real estate stocks Sun Hung Kai Properties (00016.HK) increased by 4.4%.
In the financial sector, HSBC (00005.HK), Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (00388.HK), AIA (01299.HK), and Standard Chartered (02888.HK) rose by 2.5% to 3.4%. Other stocks included Miniso (09896.HK) and Pop Mart (09992.HK), which rose by 4.9% and 3.5%, while Longfor (00960.HK) and China Taiping (00966.HK) each increased by over 4%
