Among popular Chinese stocks, NIO initially closed up 6.5%, Li Auto rose 4.8%, Canadian Solar rose 2.7%, JD.com rose 2.2%, BYD rose 2.1%, GDS, Kingsoft Cloud, and others rose over 1%, and PDD fell 0.4%. Among ETFs, ASHR rose 1.1% and CQQQ rose 0.4%.
