TENCENT Hy3 Preview Tops OpenRouter's API Call Volume Rankings

On April 29, Wall Street Insight observed that TENCENT Hunyuan's new model, Hy3 preview, ranked first in the overall daily global large model API call volume rankings on OpenRouter.

In terms of weekly rankings, Hy3 preview currently sits at sixth place, with Moonshot AI's Kimi K2.6 taking the top spot.

Reportedly, OpenRouter is the world's largest large model API distribution marketplace, integrating over 300 models.

Hy3 preview was officially released and open-sourced on April 23. It is not only the first large model following a full-stack reconstruction of the Hunyuan large model but also the first major achievement of Yao Shunyu, TENCENT's Chief AI Scientist and head of the AI Infrastructure and Large Language Model departments, since joining the company.

Hy3 preview has attracted significant market attention by focusing on enhancing capabilities in coding and agents, instruction following, and context understanding, making it the most intelligent Hunyuan model to date.

In addition to being integrated into third-party platforms like OpenRouter, Hy3 preview has already been launched in numerous internal TENCENT products, including Yuanbao, ima, WorkBuddy, and CodeBuddy. It also supports integration with mainstream open-source agent platforms such as OpenClaw, OpenCode, and KiloCode.

Furthermore, Hy3 preview is available on TENCENT Cloud's large model service platform, TokenHub, with the launch of the Hy3 Preview Token Plan. The personal edition is priced at a minimum of just RMB 28 per month.

Yao Shunyu previously stated that Hy3 preview represents the first step in the reconstruction of the Hunyuan large model. TENCENT hopes that this open-source release will garner genuine feedback from the open-source community and users, helping to improve the practicality of the official Hy3 version.
