According to Zhitong Finance APP, Samsung Global Semiconductor (03132) rose over 4%, up 4.27% as of the time of writing, priced at HKD 62.5, with a total market value of HKD 2.3375 million. It is reported that Samsung Global Semiconductor has selected the top 20 semiconductor companies globally by revenue, covering the entire industry chain including chip design, manufacturing, equipment supply, and packaging/testing. Among the top ten holdings, NVIDIA (NVDA.US), Broadcom (AVGO.US), and TSMC (TSM.US) account for over 44% of the total weight.

In news, after the U.S. stock market closed on Wednesday, NVIDIA announced its latest quarterly results. The specific data shows that NVIDIA's adjusted earnings per share for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 were USD 1.87, exceeding market expectations by USD 0.1; revenue reached USD 81.615 billion, a year-on-year increase of 85%, higher than analysts' expectations of USD 78.8 billion. Among them, the data center business revenue hit a historical high of USD 75.2 billion, with a year-on-year growth rate of 92%.

In the latest earnings call, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang revealed that the company plans to start production and shipment of the next-generation rack-level artificial intelligence system—Vera Rubin—in the second half of this year. Jensen Huang expressed confidence in NVIDIA's forecast of achieving USD 1 trillion in revenue from the Blackwell and Rubin chips between 2025 and 2027, and expects Vera Rubin "to be more successful than Grace Blackwell."
