On July 10, renowned investor Duan Yongping increased his stake in POP MART to 102 million shares, raising his ownership ratio to 7.65%. He publicly expressed optimism about POP MART's business model and corporate culture, believing that its average annual profit over the next 10-20 years will not fall below current levels, emphasizing a focus on long-term value rather than short-term fluctuations
On July 10, disclosures from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange revealed that renowned investor Duan Yongping further increased his stake in POP MART stock, with the number of shares held rising from 91.2728 million to 102 million, and the ownership ratio increasing from 6.85% to 7.65%.

On the same day, Duan Yongping stated on social media: “My basic understanding of POP MART is that it is currently a company with a market capitalization of around HK$200 billion. It already generated a profit of RMB 13 billion last year. The business model has been proven successful, and the corporate culture is excellent. The average annual profit over the next 10 to 20 years will most likely not be lower than the current level.”
He stated, “I don’t care how others view it, nor do I care about short-term fluctuations in profitability. I simply strive to think about what things will look like in 10 or 20 years. My assumptions are entirely derived from my own experiences and my understanding of the world, and I do not guarantee they are correct.”
