Kalshi traders predict that Meta's earnings call will 重点 mention "cloud" (90% probability) and "Ray-Ban" smart glasses (74%), while avoiding discussions on social media policies

Meta will announce its earnings report after the market closes on Wednesday. Traders on the market platform Kalshi predict that the parent company of Instagram will focus on promoting its Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and push into the cloud market during the conference call, while avoiding discussions on social media policies.

In the “Mention Market” (where Kalshi speculators bet on whether specific terms will appear during the conference call or presentation) for Meta's earnings call, traders believe there is a 90% probability that the management of this mega-corporation will mention the word “cloud.”

Earlier this month, reports indicated that Meta is developing a cloud infrastructure business to sell access to raw computing power.

Speculators are slightly less certain about Meta mentioning its smart glasses partner “Ray-Ban” during the call, with a probability of 74%. Last month, Meta launched a new, lower-priced smart glasses model in collaboration with Ray-Ban's parent company EssilorLuxottica.

Traders believe there is a 61% probability that Meta will mention its chips.

The probability of Meta mentioning its data center project “Hyperion” in rural Louisiana is only 27%.

At the same time, don’t expect Meta to discuss social media policies.

Despite the UK being the latest country seeking to ban children from using social media, traders believe the probability of Meta mentioning “age verification” is only 15%.

Traders believe the probability of Meta using terms like “prediction market” or “Kalshi” is only 20%. Reports in June indicated that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg had instructed employees to build a prediction market platform, and later that month NPR reported that Meta had once engaged in acquisition talks with Kalshi
