Shares in e-commerce and cloud giant Amazon (AMZN) jumped by more than 5% on Monday morning to reach a market capitalization of $3 trillion for the first time. The milestone came as analysts issued a flurry of Buy ratings in response to the company's Q2 2026 earnings beat last Thursday. Philip Capital analyst Helena Wang noted that "Amazon Web Services (AWS) growth [has begun] to justify [its] capital expenditure bet."
