$Tesla(TSLA.US) bulls keep echoing Elon’s mantra that if Tesla’s EV prices were lower TSLA would sell more EVs.

That certainly wasn’t true in 2023 and 2024, when TSLA cut ASPs by -12.5% per year, and 2024 TSLA deliveries fell -1.1% vs industry global EV volumes +25%. The reason? Competitors matched TSLA’s price cuts and would llkely do the same today.
