
Taiwan’s Winbond and Nanya Tech are reaping a windfall from the shortage of DDR4 DRAM chips, as memory giants, SK Hynix, Samsung and Micron focus on HBM chips for AI servers instead, media report, citing Winbond President Pei-Ming Chen, who added, 2026 revenue will challenge NT$100 billion (US$3.3 billion), and capex will hit NT$10 billion or more. #Winbond #semiconductors
