Atlas Agent Mode:
This is the Operator mode that was announced in January, now built into the browser. It can only operate on your tabs; it can’t access your local apps or files.1. Showed a couple of demos:Event planning in Google DocsThe agent helps organize an event with Name, Email, and To-Do lists. You can delegate the planning to Atlas Agent Mode, it has its own cursor, so you can watch it work. It even added the plan to project management software.2. Shopping list for a recipeYou can ask the agent to order specific items. It navigates to Instacart, finds the products, and fills your cart , but doesn’t complete the purchase. You review and handle payment yourself.My take:The demos feel very similar to what we saw from OpenAI earlier this year. Agents have huge potential and while the use cases are limited today, they’ll grow quickly over time.Source: Gene Munster
