Samsung’s foundry business is rebounding on orders from Tesla, Apple, Nintendo, media report, noting Tesla’s US$16.5 billion deal with Samsung’s foundry is its biggest contract from one client ever, and includes producing Tesla’s latest AI5 and AI6 chips. The Apple deal involves joint development of next-gen image sensors and production in Texas.
