
Foxconn, the iPhone and AI server assembly giant, plans to invest NT$42 billion (US$1.37 billion) in an Nvidia GB300-based supercomputing center, initially planning to buy 10,000 GB300 modules, media report. The first phase of the project will be 27MW, and operational in the 1st half of 2026. The floor load bearing capacity of the center will be 2-tons per square meter, versus the 500kg in standard office buildings.
