People talk about competition, but they ignore the switching costs.
Trying to switch away from Nvidia’s ecosystem right now is like trying to change the engine of an airplane while it is still flying. It is technically possible, but nobody is crazy enough to try it when the stakes are this high.
The lock-in here is brutal and beautiful. I’m comfortable holding a business that customers literally cannot afford to leave.
