
Samsung Electronics will extend DDR4 DRAM production through end-2026 to capture high prices - DDR4 16Gb chips hit US$60 – and plans to sign long-term supply agreements with specific server clients, media report. The agreements will be Non-Cancellable, Non-Returnable (NCNR) “bully contracts” as customers are desperate for supply and expect prices to keep rising.
