
TSMC evacuated fabs in Hsinchu, north Taiwan, after a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck off the northeast coast late Saturday night, shaking the entire main island, media report. TSMC reported the evacuations but said fabs continued to function normally and did not report any structural damage.
