US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall St gains after stronger-than-expected jobs report
Feb 11 (Reuters) - Wall Street’s main indexes opened higher on Wednesday following a stronger-than-expected jobs data that pointed to a resilient U.S. economy, while the unemployment rate ticked lower for January.The Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) rose 55.0 points, or 0.11%, to 50,243.15 at the open. The S&P 500 (.SPX) rose 34.7 points, or 0.50%, to 6,976.48, while the Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) rose 175.8 points, or 0.76%, to 23,278.29.
