$Tesla(TSLA.US)Tesla‘s sharp rebound on Monday was encouraging, but the fact that it failed to fully erase the previous selloff is also telling. Buyers are still willing to step in aggressively, yet the stock no longer has the effortless momentum it enjoyed during stronger phases of the rally.

The good news is that the rebound shows demand hasn’t disappeared. The less encouraging part is that every rally is now running into much quicker profit-taking, suggesting expectations are becoming more balanced.

For now, Tesla looks more like it‘s building a new range than starting another vertical move. If it can keep making higher lows despite the volatility, the bigger trend remains alive. But compared with a few weeks ago, the market is clearly asking for more confirmation before pushing the stock to new highs.
