
Sephora appointed Ding Xia as the General Manager of Sephora Greater China.

Global premium beauty retailer Sephora today announced the appointment of Ms. Xia Ding as General Manager of Sephora Greater China. Ms. Ding has assumed her new role; she is based in Shanghai and reports directly to Ms. Alia Gogi, President of Sephora Asia.
Ms. Alia Gogi, President of Sephora Asia, said: "Xia Ding is an outstanding leader with extensive experience in corporate operations, digital transformation, and strategic business development. I believe that with her professional expertise, profound insights into physical retail, specialization in digital and e-commerce, and proven ability to lead teams for steady business growth, Sephora Greater China will usher in a brilliant new chapter under her leadership."
Ms. Xia Ding's passion for retail and the fashion industry began during her tenure at U.S. fashion retail company HanesBrands Inc., where she spent two decades driving corporate strategic planning and leading the China market business, contributing to its rapid growth. In 2015, Ms. Ding joined global research authority Nielsen as Vice President of Retail Research. In 2017, she became President of JD.com's Fashion & Lifestyle Business Unit, where she vigorously promoted fashion businesses across categories such as apparel, footwear, sportswear, bags, and jewelry. Prior to joining Sephora, Ms. Ding served as Vice President of E-commerce for Nike Asia Pacific & Latin America.
