German management consulting firm P3's recent research shows that China performs prominently in the field of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) performance. In April this year, P3 held the "Automotive Experience Event" at the Beijing Auto Show, where nearly 70 customers were invited to test drive 8 vehicles, most of which were equipped with Level 2++ functionality.

The ADAS Index developed by P3 can objectively evaluate ADAS performance, taking into account multiple categories such as performance and comfort. During the tests, the vehicles were able to perform complex operations, and Chinese manufacturers showed great confidence in their systems.

The Aito M9, which uses Huawei's technology, topped the P3 ADAS Index with a score of 4.73. The ZEEKR 01 and XPeng X9 ranked second and third respectively, while the BYD Song L scored 3.37, below the European average. From an international comparison perspective, Chinese manufacturers are clearly leading, making it difficult for international manufacturers to compete in China. Chinese tech companies are driving ADAS advancements, and the advantages of first-tier EU suppliers are gradually diminishing. Chinese tech companies and startups are also continuously developing and may become valuable partners for automakers.
