According to US Stock Research Society, on October 26, a netizen in Guangzhou posted a video exposing raw meat found in Tastien China Burger. The involved store responded that they are still investigating the incident.
Tianyancha App shows that Tastien's affiliated company, Fuzhou Tastien Catering Management Co., Ltd., was established in December 2017, with Yang Bing as the legal representative and a registered capital of approximately 1.109 million RMB. Its business scope includes catering management, food delivery services, single-purpose commercial prepaid card agency sales, catering services, etc. The company is jointly owned by Fujian Zhaochengta Catering Management Partnership (Limited Partnership), Wei Youchun, Fuzhou High-tech Zone Jubao Tower Catering Management Partnership (Limited Partnership), and others. Branch information shows that the company has 26 branches in Shenzhen, Xi'an, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and other places, most of which are operational. Additionally, the company has invested in 9 enterprises, covering food technology, supply chain, food packaging, etc. Risk information indicates that the company is involved in multiple legal disputes, including trademark infringement disputes and laborer victim liability disputes.
Notably, in November last year, the original Zaoyang City Tastien Burger store was fined 20,000 RMB by the Zaoyang Market Supervision and Administration Bureau after consumers reported finding plastic wrap in their food. The investigation revealed that the plastic wrap was mixed in during the cleaning process, and the staff used vegetables containing the plastic wrap to make burgers. It was confirmed that the store was a franchise of Fuzhou Tastien Catering Management Co., Ltd.
