In terms of the stock market, apart from the volatility caused by the Fed's expected rate cut last Friday, the bullish expansion trend continues, with both the top 10 stocks and the remaining 490 stocks hitting record highs. This is a good thing, better than disorderly expansion (Mag 7 falling, dragging down the market-cap-weighted index).
Although both the equal-weighted and market-cap-weighted S&P 500 indices maintain a clear upward trend, the Russell 2000 is still slightly below its all-time high set at the end of 2021 and remains in a downtrend compared to the S&P 500.
