$Baidu(BIDU.US) Baidu's advertising business in the third quarter, online marketing revenue reached 21.1 billion yuan, up 15.4% year-on-year and 17.3% quarter-on-quarter, accounting for 62% of total revenue. Baidu Core's online marketing revenue was 19.6 billion yuan, up 15% year-on-year.

The growth in advertising business is mainly attributed to the AI-powered Wenxin and big data technologies, which improved ad targeting accuracy and effectiveness. Additionally, the application of generative AI and large language models has significantly increased ad eCPM (effective cost per mille) and user engagement.
