Interactive Brokers announced that it will allow retail investors to use stablecoins to fund their personal stock trading accounts.

According to the disclosure, this feature will be rolled out in phases, first to some U.S. clients, and then to more clients. This means investors can directly top up their Interactive Brokers accounts with stablecoins on-chain without using a bank account.

This year, due to tax investigation controversies, a large number of users of a certain platform trading U.S. stocks have migrated to Interactive Brokers (IBKR).
