Hong Kong, December 17, 2025 /Hua News/ -- The Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts ("the Society" or "HKSFA"), in collaboration with Hong Kong HOY TV, co-hosted the HKSFA 24th Anniversary Celebration and the 14th Listed Company Awards 2025 Ceremony, which was grandly held at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on December 11.
The Listed Company Awards have been held for over 14 years and have gained significant recognition and influence in the financial sector, receiving strong support and affirmation from the industry. The ceremony invited numerous government officials, representatives from listed companies, and heavyweight guests from the financial sector to officiate, including Mr. Joseph Chan, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury; Dr. Lo Man Tuen, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Overseas Chinese Associations, Chairman of the Hong Kong Association for Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the 11th and 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and Vice Chairman of the 11th All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce; Mr. Lui Fung, Deputy Director-General of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; Mr. Tam Yiu Chung, Vice President of the National Society for Hong Kong and Macao Studies, Secretary-General of the Hong Kong Coalition, and former member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress; Ms. Starry Lee, Member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress and Chairman of the Legislative Council's House Committee; Dr. Au King Lun, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council (FSDC). Other officiating guests included Dr. Chu Lee Man Wah, Member of the National Committee of the CPPCC; Mr. Eric Li, Deputy to the 13th National People's Congress and Member of the 14th National Committee of the CPPCC; Mr. Yu Xueqin, Head of Markets at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited; Mr. Fung Wai Neng, Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Gold Exchange; Mr. Yan Deyu, Director of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, along with several chairpersons of financial industry associations and professionals from the financial services sector.

Dr. Tang Sing Hing, Chairman of the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts, stated in his speech that the successful election of the Eighth Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on December 7, with a voter turnout surpassing the previous term, fully reflects the high recognition and enthusiastic support of Hong Kong society for the high-quality democracy under "One Country, Two Systems." Faced with the sudden challenge of the Tai Po fire, all sectors of society came together in solidarity, turning grief into strength and actively participating in the election, demonstrating Hong Kong's spirit of unity and perseverance in overcoming difficulties. The advancement and superiority of the new electoral system, as well as Hong Kong society's strong determination to transition from governance to prosperity, were fully reflected in this election. In the future, the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts will continue to support the work of the SAR government and Legislative Council members, and remain committed to recognizing outstanding listed companies, contributing to the development of Hong Kong's financial industry.

Ms. Starry Lee, Member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress and Hong Kong Deputy to the National People's Congress, was unable to attend in person due to her participation in a Legislative Council briefing session. However, she expressed her strong support for the event and delivered a video speech. She stated that she was very grateful for the efforts of the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts in the past. With the support of the central government and the SAR government, Hong Kong's stock market has been very active over the past year, and the IPO market has also performed vigorously. The vibrancy of the stock market has played a positive role in reinforcing Hong Kong's status as a financial center. Dr. Au King Lun, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council, stated in his speech that the HKSFA Listed Company Awards serve as a benchmark in the industry, and the outstanding performance of today's award-winning companies has encouraged the development of the entire industry. The long-standing contributions of the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts to the financial sector are evident to all, helping the industry to voice its opinions and providing training, while also making significant efforts in charity. The Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts has always been committed to charity since its inception, giving back to society through good deeds. In response to the recent fire in Tai Po Hung Fuk Court, the event specially added a "Charity Auction Session" this year, with all proceeds donated to the "Tai Po Hung Fuk Court Relief Fund" to support affected residents in rebuilding their homes and overcoming difficulties. The auction received enthusiastic participation from attendees, raising over HKD 160,000 in total. In addition, the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts donated HKD 100,000, and the Society's Honorary Advisor, Mr. Eric Li, Deputy to the 13th National People's Congress and Member of the 14th National Committee of the CPPCC, also donated HKD 100,000 in his personal capacity and on behalf of the Li Donghai Eric Li Fund as a matching donation, responding to the call for public welfare.
