Total AssetsThe most contradictory thing about Chinese people,
is that they always think their own wedding is the most important event, which must be grand, luxurious, and perfect at all costs. From booking the hotel to the host, from the venue setup to the wedding car fleet, everything must be flawless and pursued to the extreme.
However, when Chinese people attend the weddings of friends and family, they always look for fun, create trouble, and make a mess, treating the newlyweds on stage as a joke, with the only criterion being whether the food is tasty.
In short, when it's your own wedding, you demand 100% unconditional cooperation from everyone, sparing no expense, splurging money, and going all out.
But when you attend someone else's wedding, most people not only fail to empathize or offer blessings but also treat everyone as a joke, seeing the wedding as a farce. No matter how beautifully it's arranged, it's just nonsense in your eyes.
All you care about is the lobster in the middle of the table.
This is completely opposite to the European and American approach of "moderate your own wedding, but wholeheartedly bless and enjoy others' weddings, providing ample emotional value."
