#First Trade of the New Year

Starting the Year of the Horse, my "Horse-themed" portfolio has scored the first goal! Sharing my first trade of the year — $Tesla(TSLA.US)

Trade Overview

• Underlying: $Tesla(TSLA.US)

• Cost Basis: 423.449 USD

• Current Price: 429.675 USD (Pre-market 429.682 USD)

• Position Size: 4.3729 shares

• Position P&L: +5.69 USD

• Daily P&L: +6.14 USD (+0.32%)

Trading Logic

Choosing Tesla as the opening position for the Year of the Horse is based on three core logics:

1. "Horse-themed" Concept: As a core asset helmed by Elon Musk, Tesla inherently carries the "horse element," fitting the Year of the Horse investment theme.

2. Fundamental Support: Bullish on its long-term growth potential in AI autonomous driving and the 100GW solar & energy storage business. A $Morgan Stanley(MS.US) research report also pointed out that the valuation of the energy storage business is expected to rise significantly.

3. Market Sentiment Catalyst: $Trump Media & Tech(DJT.US) making bullish calls again, the Dow breaking through 50,000 points to set another record high, and the recovery in tech stock sentiment. As a leader, Tesla possesses strong elasticity.

Review and Outlook

• Review: Since the start of the year, Tesla's stock price has fluctuated upwards. The small profit validates the resilience of tech stocks and also gives a good start to investing in the Year of the Horse.

• Outlook: Will continue to hold Tesla in the future, while also paying attention to its earnings reports and progress in the energy storage business. If the stock price breaks through key resistance levels, will consider adding to the position to capture the continuity of the "Spring Festival Red Envelope" market trend.
