Horse Year Portfolio Trading Logic + Review
The Horse Year's Spring Festival coincides with the Dow Jones hitting a new all-time high above 50,000 points, bringing a solid "Spring Festival red envelope" rally to global equity markets. I have also positioned a dual-horse portfolio of Tesla (TSLA.US) + Amazon, and I'm taking this opportunity to share the trading logic and rationale.
I. Stock Selection: Focusing on the "Horse Element" + Core Logic of Tech Leaders
This first trade of the year specifically chose two major "horse-related" stocks, not only fitting the auspicious meaning of the Horse Year but also based on a rational choice considering fundamentals and market trends:
1. Tesla (TSLA.US): Core linkage to Elon Musk's tech ecosystem, with continuous iteration of the Full Self-Driving (FSD) system, industrialization progress of the humanoid robot Optimus, coupled with the rising global penetration rate of new energy vehicles. The dual growth logic of technology + manufacturing is clear, making it a core stock among US tech growth stocks.
2. Amazon (AMZN.US): The name inherently contains the "horse" element. Its AWS cloud service firmly holds the global leading position, with continuously strengthening profit resilience. The e-commerce business is recovering alongside consumption.
