Steady Voyager歐元區 1 月 CPI 初值按年升 8.5%，遠較市場預期 8.9% 為低，亦顯著低過 12 月的 9.2%，連續 3 個月回落，為去年 5 月以來新低。市場對歐洲高通脹持續的預期稍有降溫。惟 1 月核心 CPI 按年升 5.2%，稍高於市場預期 5.1%，反映黏性通脹仍然存在。
此外，歐元區 12 月失業率為 6.6%，較市場預期及 11 月的 6.5% 為高，失業率出乎市場預期上升，令歐洲經濟硬著陸風險有所升溫。
若按月計，歐元區 1 月 CPI 初值按月跌幅達 0.4%，較預期升 0.1% 為多。歐元滙價在數據公布後輕微反彈，兌美元回升至 1.0887，兌港元 8.5 算。
