But looking at AI now, you can no longer just focus on NVIDIA. No matter how fast chips are rising, the industry cannot do without memory, power, heat dissipation, and data center construction. As time goes on, the importance of these foundational links will become increasingly obvious.
In the semiconductor sector, I will continue to follow Micron Technology ($Micron Tech(MU.US)). AI servers need not only GPUs but also have huge demand for HBM, DRAM, and high-performance storage. As long as AI data centers continue to expand, there will be no shortage of demand for storage. Compared to some hot stocks with already high valuations, $Micron Tech(MU.US) seems more like a play that follows industry prosperity.
Power is a direction I've been focusing on recently. With more and more data centers being built, electricity consumption is increasing rapidly. In the future, what may limit AI development is not just whether there are enough chips, but whether there is enough power and whether the grid can handle it. Therefore, I will watch Constellation Energy ($Constellation Energy(CEG.US)) and Vistra ($Vistra(VST.US)). These companies used to seem quite traditional, but they are now beginning to be repriced by the market.
Another one is Vertiv ($Vertiv(VRT.US)). As GPU power consumption gets higher and servers become denser, the importance of cooling and power supply systems naturally rises. Data centers might buy fewer servers, but they cannot avoid solving power and cooling issues.
Looking at AI now, it's not just about who can make stronger chips, but also about who provides storage, power, cooling, and infrastructure for the entire industry.
