Seoul, Korea - Korean robotic hand specialist Tesollo has officially launched preparations for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) through South Korea's special technology listing system. The company also announced that it recently completed its Series B financing round. In this round, existing shareholders such as POSCO Technology Investment, KB Investment, and Enlight Ventures participated as follow-on investors, while industrial strategic investors including Daesung Hi-Tech and HL Mando also joined. The follow-on investment from existing investors and the entry of new strategic investors are seen as reflecting market recognition of Tesollo's technological strength and growth potential.
Tesollo centers on its multi-joint robotic hand "Delto Gripper" series, expanding its technological competitiveness in industrial automation and humanoid robotics. Based on independently developed actuator technology, the company has commercialized humanoid robotic hands and multi-joint grippers. Meanwhile, Tesollo is developing grasping and manipulation control algorithms to enhance robotic hand task execution capabilities, as well as AI-based hand operation technologies. Leveraging these technologies, Tesollo is expanding its application scope into manufacturing, logistics, and research sectors.
As the humanoid robot market continues to expand, demand for robotic hands capable of precision operations is also increasing. Against this backdrop, Tesollo is expanding its customer base and overseas business, focusing on major global markets such as the United States, China, and Japan. To date, its products have been exported to a cumulative 19 countries, and recent overseas sales revenue has exceeded domestic sales, indicating the company's transition toward a globally centered enterprise.
Tesollo CEO Kim Young-Jin stated, "We hope to establish a corporate foundation trusted by global customers through the IPO, thereby accelerating our expansion into overseas markets." He added, "By strengthening product mass production capabilities and further enhancing core technology R&D levels, we will continue to grow into a global leader in the robotic hand sector."
