Innovative drugs and electronics sectors surged; CSI 1000 ETF GF (560010) rose 2.51%

On July 27, major A-share indices opened low but rose during the session. In terms of sectors, concepts such as brain engineering and CRO (Contract Research Organization) in innovative drugs, as well as electronic concepts like MLCC, PCB, and memory chips, led the gains.

As of 10:46, the CSI 1000 Index tracked by GF CSI 1000 ETF (560010) rose by 2.19%.

The top five industries of the CSI 1000 Index are Electronics, Electrical Equipment, Machinery, Pharmaceutical & Biological Products, and Non-ferrous Metals, accounting for over 50% of the total weight (Shenwan Level 1 Industry). Among them, Electronics and Pharmaceutical & Biological Products combined account for over 29%. From a sector perspective, the combined weight of the STAR Market and ChiNext reaches 39.65%, nearly 40%.

In the electronics sector, CXMT, a leading domestic memory chip manufacturer, officially listed today. CXMT opened 471% higher, with a total market capitalization reaching 3.31 trillion yuan, surpassing ICBC to become the current "number one" in total market capitalization on the A-share market.

Last weekend, South Korean authorities announced that Samsung Electronics and Broadcom signed a memorandum of understanding, reaching an agreement on foundry cooperation. They will supply advanced memory semiconductors worth $200 billion over the next five years and produce AI chips. SK Group also decided to engage in long-term supply cooperation for advanced memory semiconductors worth a total of $750 billion with global tech giants including NVIDIA over the next five years.

A Tianfeng Securities research report pointed out that with the continuous advancement of AI computing power construction, the importance of high-end storage demand is further increasing, and the industry's supply and demand pattern is expected to gradually improve. Looking ahead, against the backdrop of demand structure upgrades and persistent supply constraints, storage prices and the profitability of the industry chain are expected to maintain good resilience, and industry prosperity may continue its recovery trend.

In the innovative drug sector, recently, the China Center for International Economic Exchanges and Social Sciences Academic Press jointly released the "Health Blue Book: China Health Development Report (2025-2026)". Data shows that in 2025, 76 innovative drugs were approved for listing in China, a significant increase of 58.3% from the 48 in 2024, setting a new historical record. In 2024, the cumulative number of innovative drugs under development in China reached over 4,000, ranking first globally.

Guojin Securities pointed out that leading domestic innovative drug companies already possess core competitiveness with high R&D investment and continuous pipeline output. The ample reserve of backend pipelines, combined with the resonance of medical insurance and essential drug policies, has brought domestic innovative drugs into a golden window for performance realization. 2027 will be a milestone year for the internationalization of China's innovative drug industry.

As of 10:46, GF CSI 1000 ETF (560010) rose by 2.51%; among component stocks, Puran Microelectronics fell 6.17%, Cambridge Technology rose 0.17%, Fenghua Advanced Technology rose 8.73%, Dongxin Microelectronics rose 2.42%, Yunnan Germanium fell 1.51%, Jianghai Capacitor rose 5.94%, Chang Guang Hua Xin rose 4.31%, Dongcai Technology rose 1.05%, Fuchuang Precision rose 0.58%, and Jingzhi Da rose 0.15%.

Data shows that as of the previous trading day, the GF CSI 1000 ETF (560010) had a net inflow of 687 million yuan over the past week and a net inflow of 3.084 billion yuan over the past month.

The CSI 1000 covers tracks such as Specialized, Refined, Differential, and Innovative (SRDI), high-end manufacturing, and hard technology.
