My returns have also been mostly wiped out this month, but I'm still holding. It doesn't look like a normal decline now; there are too many profit-taking positions, and they're continuing to wash them out. Since I still have some profit cushion, I can't be bothered to sell at this level. Some might say, 'You were so bullish when it was rising, why aren't you shouting now that it's falling?' All I can say is that in this monkey market, unless Wall Street is under your control, no one can accurately predict the outcome. In a volatile market, earnings reports and performance are no longer the high-weight factors determining stock prices; sentiment and the attitude of certain groups are what truly matter.
