On July 30, 2026, Wanye Technology Group Co., Ltd. (00894.HK)$MAN YUE TECH(00894.HK), a leading Chinese supercapacitor and energy storage technology enterprise, announced that its self-developed Lithium Carbon Capacitor ("LCC") new single-unit 20Ah production line officially went into production at the end of June 2026. It is the world's first large-capacity, fully automated intelligent production line, with an annual output of up to 1.5GWh (calculated at 10C charge/discharge), ranking first globally in annual output capacity in the supercapacitor field. The commissioning of this production line marks that Wanye Technology's self-developed LCC lithium carbon supercapacitor technology has officially entered the mass production stage, laying a solid foundation for subsequent large-scale market supply.
The LCC lithium carbon supercapacitor was independently developed by Wanye Technology and adopts a hybrid energy storage mechanism. Tests have confirmed it to be the supercapacitor with the largest single-unit capacity globally at 45,000F (Farads), with a high power density of 15kW/KG and a high energy density of 140Wh/KG. It can undergo over 100 million charge/discharge cycles under specific conditions, boasting a leading global special long-cycle life, as well as rapid response characteristics at the 20-millisecond level, and is suitable for wide-temperature operation. Through extreme tests such as nail penetration, extrusion, and overcharging, the LCC lithium carbon supercapacitor achieved stable performance without fire or explosion, demonstrating extremely high safety and setting a technical benchmark for the global supercapacitor industry.
