In terms of news, both Microsoft and Meta allayed market concerns about a slowdown in AI investment through their earnings reports and capital expenditure plans. Driven by the earnings reports of large tech companies and expectations of continued increases in AI capital expenditures, AI concept stocks rebounded comprehensively.

Microsoft's earnings report showed that in its fourth fiscal quarter ending in June, revenue growth for its cloud business, Azure, continued to accelerate, reaching a year-on-year increase of 43%, the fastest pace since 2022. Demand for AI businesses remained robust. The company also signaled its intention to continue expanding data center construction and AI infrastructure investment, further reinforcing the market's judgment that the AI capital expenditure cycle is still in an expansion phase.

Meta also delivered results far exceeding market expectations. Quarterly revenue grew 28% year-on-year to $60.8 billion, showing impressive performance, and it raised its full-year capital expenditure guidance. The company explicitly stated that it will continue to invest heavily in AI infrastructure construction to support its ad recommendation system and AI product development.

Guojin Securities believes that the rapid iteration of AI large models is driving continuous upward revisions in orders for domestic computing power design companies, forcing a shortage in advanced process capacity. In the second half of 2026, SMIC and Hua Hong will welcome a new round of capacity release. Multiple domestic AI chips will enter production lines for manufacturing and are expected to begin mass production and shipment. Domestic computing power officially enters the stage of actual scale volume expansion, providing long-term rigid support for advanced process demand. Additionally, increasingly strict overseas export controls have rigidly increased the demand of domestic storage giants for core equipment such as domestic etching, thin film deposition, and metrology/testing.
