Recently, global AI cloud platform service provider Tuya Smart (NYSE: TUYA, HKEX: 2391) has reached a deep cooperation agreement with Lexiang Technology, a leading enterprise in the global consumer-grade embodied intelligence sector. Relying on Tuya's AI+IoT ecological foundation and Lexiang's robotic execution capabilities, the two parties will empower robots to drive smart living scenarios, paving a new path for home service robots to transition from "functional executors" to "scenario evolvers." This collaboration also marks a practical implementation of Tuya Smart's AI Home application ecosystem, further promoting intelligent device synergy and proactive services throughout the home via AI.
Founded on December 19, 2024, in Suzhou, Jiangsu, Lexiang Technology focuses on the research and development of embodied intelligence technologies and consumer-grade robot products under its brand Zeroth YuanDian. It aims to build intelligent robot systems tailored for the real world. Leveraging self-developed core components, motion control systems, and large embodied models, Lexiang has established a full-link technical system ranging from embodied intelligent hardware terminals to agent systems, achieving continuous iteration capabilities through software-hardware integration. Its products cover applications such as family companionship, full-scenario interaction, and complex environment exploration, striving to create more natural, reliable, and warm human-robot interaction experiences.
For a long time, home service robots have acted more like isolated tools, struggling to link with other whole-home smart devices, which has limited the experience upgrade of AI Home. The collaboration between Tuya Smart and Lexiang Technology will help robots integrate into AI Home, transforming them into "super mobile terminals" and "action butlers" capable of proactive guardianship and high-perception interaction.
The self-developed 50cm humanoid robot M1 by Zeroth YuanDian focuses on child companionship and education, elderly care and monitoring, and pet interaction recording. It can accurately recognize human emotions, perceive scene changes and feedback information, and autonomously adjust its interaction traits to serve the entire family in the most suitable state.
By leveraging Tuya Smart's self-developed Physical AI Engine (PAE) underlying system architecture, Lexiang Technology deeply integrates the robot's embodied execution capabilities with AI+IoT devices in the home. Robots are no longer just 埋头 working; they act as the central hub of home intelligence, truly embodying the AI Home philosophy—scheduling lighting, air conditioning, curtains, security, and energy devices to jointly complete complex household tasks. For example, when a user wakes up in the morning, the robot links with smart devices at home to adjust the lights to a soft warm color, play gentle morning music, and remind the user of the day's weather and schedule.
Meanwhile, the visual and auditory "embodied sensors" built into Lexiang robots achieve real-time, high-fidelity fusion with Tuya Smart's whole-home sensor matrix, including air quality, human presence, and light sensors.
