Rate Of ReturnAmong Longbridge's bloggers, Value Bro and Steel Bro provide the most market-aligned advice and price points. Although they sometimes get trapped, their handling of such situations is the best I've seen among so many bloggers.
Traders who survive well in the stock market are essentially combining prediction with response, because Mr. Market can go crazy and be ruthless, yet retail investors always end up with the same result. For instance, starting last September, I took a heavy position in Micron with double leverage and earned my first million RMB (converted from USD). However, in March, unable to withstand the pressure, I liquidated my Micron position entirely, missing out on the subsequent 4x rally, but at least I preserved my profits. After I exited Micron, its trading volume suddenly surged from a few million to tens of millions or even over 100 million. Throughout this period of confusion and missed opportunities, I stuck to my own system. As of August this year, I remain break-even, which indicates that this year truly reflects my actual investment capability.
Profit and loss stem from the same source. Although I didn't make money, I didn't lose either. What needs to be done is to manage risk well. And as I always say, study classic works more, and when you don't understand what's happening in crowded trades, you should run (but everyone is greedy; acting against human nature is really too difficult).
