Steady Voyager美國總統拜登簽署獲參眾兩院通過的法案，暫停執行債務上限，避免美國出現債務違約。
白宮沒有舉行簽署儀式，只在社交網站上載拜登簽署法案的片段。拜登亦貼文，稱剛簽署一份兩黨預算協議成為法律，防止債務違約，同時減少赤字，維護了社會保障、醫療保險及醫療補助制度；亦履行對退伍軍人的神聖義務，現時將繼續建設經濟。
白宮亦發聲明，感謝包括眾議院議長麥卡錫和參議院共和黨領袖麥康奈爾在內的國會領袖。
法案限制 2024 年和 2025 年的聯邦預算支出，但減幅沒有共和黨保守派要求的大。另外，在 2024 年大選前暫停 31.4 萬億美元債務上限。
財政部之前警告，會在本月 5 日耗盡現金。白宮與控制眾議院的共和黨經多次談判後，同意暫停執行債務上限以及限制聯邦開支。
