Buffett ApprenticeCoinbase 遭美國證交會指控涉嫌未經註冊從事交易活動
美國證券交易委員會（SEC）對全球最大加密貨幣交易所幣安（Binance）提出 13 項指控後，$Coinbase(COIN.US) 亦被 SEC 起訴，指其涉嫌違反美國證券法規。Coinbase 股價跌 17%，暫報 48.69 美元。
SEC 於周二（6 日）入稟紐約聯邦法院，指控 Coinbase 涉嫌未經註冊，從事經紀、交易和清算活動，認為其「多年來一直無視美國證券法的監管，亦逃避披露要求」，要求法院「永久限制和禁止（permanently restrained and enjoined）」其違法行爲。
此前，SEC 曾於 4 月向 Coinbase 發出「威爾斯通知」（Wells notice），警告該交易所可能違犯美國證券法，這是 SEC 對在美上市公司進行民事訴訟前發出的非正式提醒。
Coinbase 未有回應。
