證監會向高寶集團證券發出限制通知書，以保存由該經紀行持有的客戶資產。在限制通知書下，高寶集團證券在取得證監會事先書面同意前，不可直接或透過代理人經營任何構成其根據《證券及期貨條例》獲發牌進行的受規管活動的業務，以及不可處置、處理、輔助、慫使或促致另一人處置或處理其持有或代其客戶持有的任何財產，直至另行通知為止。
證監會未有披露高寶集團證券所涉案件，僅指調查仍在進行中。
證監會稱，維護投資大眾的利益或公眾利益而言，發出限制通知書是可取的做法。
高寶集團證券現時持有第 1 類（證券交易）、第 4 類（就證券提供意見）牌照，在 4 號牌上，該行只可向專業投資者提供服務。
