
CATHAY PAC AIR will open a new route to Dallas in April next year, increasing its North American destinations to 8

CATHAY PAC AIR announced that it will open a direct flight service from Hong Kong to Dallas on April 24, 2025, becoming its sixth passenger destination in the United States, with a total of 8 North American destinations. The new route will operate 4 flights per week using the Airbus A350-1000, further enhancing its North American route network. CATHAY PAC AIR also plans to increase the frequency of North American flights to 108 pairs per week starting in May next year, strengthening its connections with North America, Central, and South America
CATHAY PAC AIR announced today (24th) that it will launch direct flights between Hong Kong and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport for the first time, further expanding its North American route network. The new route is set to commence on April 24, 2025, becoming CATHAY PAC AIR's sixth passenger destination in the United States, bringing the total number of North American destinations to 8. The new Dallas route will strengthen CATHAY PAC AIR's network in the Americas and enhance the connectivity of Hong Kong International Airport with the world.

Currently, CATHAY PAC AIR operates 88 round-trip flights per week to and from Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Toronto, and Vancouver in North America; the new service with four weekly round-trip flights to Dallas will be operated by the latest Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, further enhancing the North American route network. The new route is now open for booking, with flight schedules as follows (all local time, subject to relevant approvals):

CATHAY PAC AIR will increase the frequency of North American flights in 2025 to provide customers with more choices. Starting from May next year, the frequency of CATHAY PAC AIR's North American flights will increase to 108 round-trip flights per week. In addition to the new Dallas route, this includes three daily round-trip flights between Hong Kong and New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles respectively, as well as daily flights between Hong Kong and Boston and Chicago. Furthermore, the airline continues to strengthen its Canadian network, operating two daily round-trip flights between Hong Kong and Vancouver, and 13 weekly round-trip flights between Hong Kong and Toronto.
At the same time, the new route complements CATHAY PAC AIR's current cargo service to Dallas via Anchorage. To meet the increased demand during the peak season for air cargo, CATHAY PAC AIR Cargo has also added 5 additional round-trip cargo flights per week starting this month, bringing the total number of cargo flights to and from North America to as many as 37 per week.
